Designer Fabrics

Lara Grace Sisters Joanne and Marie-Clair have launched Lara Grace Collections a range of designer curtain fabrics to give new ideas and inspiration for the home.

Whilst sourcing designer fabric for their new interiors showroom, it soon became apparent to Joanne and Marie Clair that there was a void in the market for a range of classic furnishings complementing each other, but not so expensive that they could not be enjoyed by all. So, they set about putting together the Lara Grace Collections. The designer fabrics they have chosen have a strong Anglo-French feel and this is no accident. Joanne and Marie-Clair grew up spending summers in the Cathedral town of Chartres with their French Grandmother, and wanted the collection to remind them of the time they spent exploring the medieval streets, markets and chic boutiques.

To keep Lara Grace Collections at a reasonable price a website was launched in the autumn of 2005 to sell their designer fabric direct to the public. The idea for the website was for it to be like a glossy brochure, hence the abundance of lifestyle shots which are there to give you an idea of how the designer fabrics can used and put together.
